Gig4u offers three alternative work and payment options depending on the project type chosen by the customer and service provider.
Why? It makes the task more convenient for both parties because they may select how they wish to pay, work and receive payment.
The three different modes are –
- Project based
- Milestone based
- Task based
So, what's the difference between these three methods of work and payment modes? Let's take a look at each one separately.
Project-based:
In project-based payment, the method is quite straightforward. The escrow account requires the client to pay the complete sum in full in advance. The money will be released from the escrow account with the customer's agreement once the project has been completed and the service provider has claimed it as done.
Milestone based:
Milestones are minor groups of goals that must be met in order for a project to be completed. The client gives the project to the service provider and the service provider must break down the project into phases or milestones. So, the service provider gets compensated for each milestone achieved and provided to the customer. As a result, the customer can place a greater emphasis on project outcomes rather than time or working hours.
Task-based:
The project is broken into small tasks or micro-deliverables in this payment and work mechanism. The minor chores that must be completed in order to reach the objective. When the service provider completes a task, adds claims, and the customer approves the claim, the payment is released from the escrow. A service provider can also be compensated in a variety of ways using this payment mechanism depending on the task, it includes:
- Rate per design
- Rate per hour
- Rate per image
- Rate per lead
- Rate per month
- Rate per page
- Rate per sale
- Rate per week
- Rate per writing
