Workers with the ability to work from home have seen an increase in demand for their skills. While those who don't have such abilities are learning such skills and working their way up the ladder to freelancing.

It is clearly seen that a novice freelancer can make a large amount of money by understanding the ins and outs of this business. It is, however, also reliant on the kind of the work.

According to resources, a novice freelancer can make up to Rs.10,000–30,000 per month. In fact, skilled freelancers often earn more than a lakh per month.

In a report published by the McKinsey Global Institute, it shows that by 2025, more than 375 million people will be working as gig workers, part-time and temporary workers, freelancers, and independent contractors.

In the near future, it is estimated that gig workers will make up the bulk of the workforce.
