A few things you should keep in mind before getting started.

Double check and confirm that you've logged in as a service provider (aka a freelancer).

Check if your profile is fully optimized or not—if you've added an updated portfolio, etc.

Make sure you've updated your KYB details—correct bank details, phone number, etc.
Bidding on gig request
To make a bid on Gig4U as a service provider, you can follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Gig4U account.
- Go to "Find Work." On this page you'll find various kinds of gigs posted by different clients. There's two ways you can find a gig that matches your skills and expertise.
- First, browse through the suggested list. Each gig has two buttons at the bottom ('Read more', 'Skill not matched'/'propose a bid'). Whenever the posted requirement matches your skillset, the button will be turned to "Propose a bid." If it doesn't, you'll see "Skill not matched."
- Second, use the search bar at the top of the listed gigs. You can make the search as per your skill set. Find the skill and tap the search button; this will help you filter out gigs as per the skill you've chosen.
- After finding one that matches your skills and expertise, read the description and requirements carefully to ensure you understand what is being asked of you.
- Click on the "Propose a bid" button to start creating your bid. This action will provide you with a series of open-ended questions that you need to answer.
- 1st page - Write a solution. proposal page where you elaborate on your experience and how you can help them. In other words, write about a solution you can offer and why you are the best fit for the project or job. Be sure to highlight your relevant skills and experience.
- 2nd page - Choose the payment type i.e Project or milestone. Choose as per your flexibility and convenience.
- 3rd page - Duration. If you chose the milestone payment type, before adding duration, you'll need to choose a milestone scheme. At Gig4u, we offer five milestone schemes.

- 4th page - Timing. You need to choose in which hours you'll be working. The first half of the day or the second half. Again, choose as per your flexibility and convenience.
- 5th page - Project start date. Here you need to choose a date when you can start working on the project. Before selecting a date, consider whether the project requirement appears to be an urgent need. Choose a date that should be perfectly fine for you and the client.

6th page - Enter your rate. How much do you expect to get paid for the said project?
- 7th page - Upload file. You need to upload your resume, relevant documents or samples, or your best portfolio that backs up your experience and showcases that you're skilled.
Click the submit button to send your bid to the client, and hurray, you've successfully proposed a bid!
Note: It's important to note that the client may receive multiple bids, so it's essential to make your proposal stand out by providing detailed and specific information that demonstrates your qualifications, credibility, and ability to deliver quality work.
Additionally,
- If you get any notification from Gig4U via email or WhatsApp, do not ignore it.
- If the client messages you to inquire about something, make sure to communicate promptly with the client to build a strong relationship and increase your chances of being selected for the gig.
